What do you think his prime stat line will be? What are his weaknesses that he he needs to improve on currently? I think he needs to become a better jump shooter in the league because a lot of teams would give him the shot rather him driving in the lane which is a higher percentage shot... I also believe he needs to get in the weight room because he couldn't finish a lot of plays in the NBA because of not being as strong...

His jumpshot still isn't nearly upto scratch to what it should be. It lacks consistency but still that's the only major weakness I can point out. It's only going to come with time though, its already making leaps and bounds. He's got to limit his turnovers too but for a point guard he's going to make a few mistakes.

Sky is the limit though as he grows he's only gonna get better.

Yes, the jump shot needs to improve. Also he needs more strength. I don't see him being durable like a Andre Miller or Derrick Rose. Cut down the turnovers.

Its hard to say what his stat line in his prime will be. I expect big things from him though. He's my 2nd fave PG behind Deron Williams. I see Wall as an explosive player who when he improves on his jumpshot will be one of the elite PG's in the league. The guy is young, fun to watch, and just is amazingly fast on the floor.

I think he will top out at 11 assist per game, although its clear that he loves to pass. I swear if we had talent on this team they'd benefit so mich from wall. You see how easily he got 22 assists in the rook/soph game?

I think his ppg will top out at 22 ppg. Im not saying he'll average 22 and 11 in his best season I just think that's where he will top out at. I think him being an 18/11 player is his prime numbers.

Haven't seen a pg that loves to dish as much as him in a while.

Exactly. He was a beast in the Rookie/Sophmore game. If he had more scorers around him and better finishers in the paint he'd look like one of the best already. He's a gifted assist man, but needs the pieces around him to truly show it.

We suck. He was the most mature player on the team and he was a freaking rookie. I want to see him around vets. My god imagine him around kobe,kg,duncan, dirk, kidd. But no all he had was dumb ass blacthe, mcgee, and young to learn from. the wizards need to not drop the ball on wall. He's special and we need to develop him and that means bringing in some vets and good players.

Vets AND good players is exactly right. He would be amazing around vets you mentioned and then, get this...not far from a stretch. I've been hearing the Twolves MAY consider trading Beasley if Williams develops and gets a starting job in Minny. Can you imagine if Beasley came home to the DMV in DC and was getting assists from Wall? Beasley is a naturally gifted pure scorer and if he had someone like Wall setting him up...Wow.

I think he's got the most potential of anyone in the league right now. He was battling injuries all season, and played with a bunch of chewbs for most of the season. Even with those things holding him back he had some absolutely filthy stat lines for a while. I remember one week he had games of like 28, 14, 9 with 6 steals and 3 blocks, and shit like 30, 11, 7 9 steals and shit. He's just as athletic as Derrick Rose, but faster. I get the feeling Rose is a higher jumper but John's the fastest player in the L bar none. He can get to the rim at will and he's actually scary as hell with that reckless attitude. He goes like AI to the rim sometimes, but seemed to hold back a little after coming back from injury, too. I hope the offseason fixes that too because that's only gonna benefit the team. I think defensively he can be similar to Penny Hardaway and Dwyane Wade, he can absolutely own the shit out of most points, and can guard some 2-guards with his combination of size and speed.

I think he'll be a better player than Derrick Rose by quite a stretch when it's all said and done. He's an infinitely better pure point, better passer, better feel for the game etc... I don't see him ever being as good of a scorer but it wouldn't surprise me either.

We really need to have Mo-Ev on the team, I get the feeling he was his mentor off-court last year.
    STAMPING OUT TEH IGNORANCE!
