Author Notes:
This is my first ever created blog, comments & criticism would be greatly appreciated.
We are the team, that Michael Jordan built. We are the team now lead by Derrick Rose, the rookie of the year, and the greatest number of points in a playoffs series. Luol Deng is coming off of an injury, which is a plus as always. Luol will give you 18ppg/6rpg a game, and that's always a contribution. He's an old-school type of guy and that's respectable. The Chicago Bulls had a key loss this summer: Ben Gordon, the rainmaker, he could always spark things up, but he was inconsistent. Let's see how the Bulls can mesh together and fill the void of Ben Gordon leaving. The Chicago Bulls will play better defense then last year because of Ben Gordon leaving. He sucked at defense.
I'm ranking my Bulls at least the number 6 seed. The East has always been mediocre for the lower seeds, who are rarely over 500%, and have been second best to the dominant Western Conference. Derrick Rose, will come out even stronger then before and show us what he truly is and what he can make on the court. Be on the lookout for what Rose can truly do and how more aggressive this season he will be. Tyrus Thomas & Joakim Noah have been reportedly hitting the gym's after they dramatically improved during the playoff seasons and look to have improved even more. Tyrus, you already know what he brings, those game changing shot blocks & Joakim - 'Nuff said.
Some Videos, I thought would be interesting:
These both illustrate the amazing season Derrick Rose will have.
I've got the Bulls at 43 - 39 this season, as stated previously. John Salmons, he is clutch, and he primarily plays small forward, but will take over the role of Ben Gordon's spot. The Bulls HAD NEVER PLANNED to offer Ben Gordon a contract, after they traded for John Salmons & Brad Miller. The John Salmons & Brad Miller trade was the shake up the Bulls needed to surge into the playoffs. I'm glad they did because that is such a good move by John Paxson,. Brad Miller provides the veteran experience and mentors Joakim Noah & Tyrus Thomas and provides key insight. He can also light up three's sometimes, I'm sorry to say this Brad, but you're slow! I think my grandma, can beat you in a race.
What lies ahead for the Chicago Bulls? I see nothing except upward expansion, because of their rising stars. Luol Deng was an all-star for Christ Sakes and everyone thinks he is a has-been. It's his season to shine and he will prove all his critics wrong, book it please. Michael Jordan's, hall of fame ceremony, was very interesting, nevertheless, and I bet Chicago Bulls players & fans alike were watching with nothing except excitement toward their hero. Heck! I was even watching it and adoring. Lindsey Hunter, resigned, but he is nothing but a mentor to Derrick Rose, he provides support for Derrick Rose, when Derrick asks questions and Lindsey was amazing defender. Look for Rose's Defense to emerge.
Why haven't I mentioned free agency yet? Have you ever heard of an expression, save the best for last? Well, anyways, Dwyane Wade will be coming to Chicago, I am 90% sure and I do have articles for proof. He recently bought a townhouse and didn't want to give away to the Heat in the Tom & Waddle Show[ESPN CHICAGO 1000] that he most likely will be leaving the Miami Heat. The Bulls need a big man, I'm not saying I hate Wade, but I'd take Bosh or Amar'e if they were available. We either need to trade for a big man or either sign one in the class of 2010.
I would love to hear your thoughts on this article, please do not heisitate to post!
I will be writing more blog entries for the team, I LOVE.
Thank you for reading,
